Hey team. Have been in the States for over a month now and this is my third post on the blog, due to the lack of activity over here. Lol.
In saying that, things are starting to happen and we are slowly starting to get busy. This week we played three shows in Kentucky and next week we are playing in Canada and Arkansas so will be pretty full on week. The following week we start a three week road trip up to California and back playing shows in New Mexico,

Kirsty is settling in well. She has found hidden talent in the area of guitar teching that she didn't know she had. She is "enjoying doing nothing for a change". We are missing all our family and friends so if you have a Skype account please feel free to add us. User name:mike_aitofi

During our quite period, Kirsty and I managed to take a trip up to Chicago to see Kirsty's Aunty Irene and to see some sights. We were well looked after and went to the Aquarium, museum of science and industry as well as taking a lift up 94 floors of the John Hancock tower to see Chicago from a birds eye view. Chicago is a beautiful place and we got to see some water to make us feel a bit at home. Unfortunately we were too busy to fit Oprah unto our schedule.

All the crew is doing well. Brad and Jono are still feeling under the weather. They are trying to shake off sinus trouble so keep them in your prayers. Ross our drummer is heading home at the end of the month and will not be returning. We will miss him and wish him all the blessings in what ever God is leading him into in the next season.

Last week we spent time with Mark Dejong (Parachute music CEO) and David Curtis (parachute Festival coordinator). They spent a day out on the road with us. Was good to hang out with some kiwis.

We are still looking for a church in Franklin to attend. We have visited a couple and there Is no shortage of them so we will keep looking. I have made contact with James Katina from the worship band 'The Katinas',who lives in our area so will check out his church. We are meeting up with their band this Sunday night. Hopefully this will involve island food at some stage ;-)..

I am writing this as we drive to Kentucky to play at an outreach. Today is Saturday.

Ok, I think that's all for now. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!!??

Blessings, Mike and Kirsty Aitofi
